Colonial Panama - fine grade 8 llano weave (rollable)
Perfect for travelling as it will withstand being frequently rolled, this classic Colonial panama is reminiscent of politicians and filmstars from the 20s. The quality of our grade 8 llano weave panama hats is very fine and is comparable to panama hats which cost two or three times this price.
By working directly with the co-operative of women weavers, we not only ensure that they receive a high price for their work but, by cutting out the seven middlemen who normally participate in the panama supply chain, we are able to get the panama hats direct to you at a very good price! Our aim is to create constant employment for our 400 weavers throughout the year and this also keeps our retail prices low.
