Fedora Panama - fine grade 8 llano weave (rollable)
The classic, fedora style panama hat which can be rolled for travelling. The llano weave is a flexible, durable, herringbone weave and it takes over a week to weave each hat. The quality of our grade 8 llano weave panama hats is very fine and is comparable to panama hats which cost two or three times this price.
By working directly with the co-operative of women weavers, we not only ensure that they receive a high price for their work but, by cutting out the seven middlemen who normally participate in the panama supply chain, we are able to get the panama hats direct to you at a very good price! Our aim is to create constant employment for our 400 weavers throughout the year and this also keeps our retail prices low.
