Gambler Panama - fine grade 8 llano weave
A wide brimmed Gambler which provides excellent sun protection. This panama is supplied with a black leather effect hat band. The quality of our grade 8 llano weave panama hats is very fine and is comparable to panama hats which cost two or three times this price.
By working directly with the co-operative of women weavers, we not only ensure that they receive a high price for their work but, by cutting out the seven middlemen who normally participate in the panama supply chain, we are able to get the panama hats direct to you at a very good price! Our aim is to create constant employment for our 400 weavers throughout the year and for this reason we keep our retail prices low.
n.b. the size 59 gambler usually comes with a soft elasticated internal band so that it will fit sizes 58/59
