Welcome to Pachacuti - The Home of Fair Trade Hats, Clothing and Accessories.

Founded on a passion for improving the lives of Andean producers and their communities, Pachacuti was established by Carry Somers in 1992. Pachacuti means world upside-down in language and describes our endeavour to redress the inequalities in the fashion industry through demonstrating that it is possible to create stylish clothing and accessories which benefit the producers and are environmentally sustainable.
Our collection of alpaca knitwear for Winter is now online. We also have a range of felt hats from stylish cloches, through classic fedoras to a red bowler hat if you really want to get noticed! For anyone taking a break to sunnier climes, or thinking of a Christmas present, our rollable panama hats are handmade by co-operatives in Ecuador and are the only fair trade panamas available in the UK.
Latest News: Pachacuti wins two awards at Re:Fashion - the world's first ethical fashion awards on 13 November 2008.
Carry wins Entrepreneur with a Conscience Award 2008.
