Naturally dyed, hand-spun alpaca shawl - was £59.50
Handspun alpaca from animals within the weavers own community in the Puno area, complemented with natural dyes from the locality, give this alpaca shawl its clearly handmade character. Thickly spun alpaca is then woven in and out of the shawl at either end to produce a bobble effect. The shawl is around 60cm wide (far wider than in the photograph and slightly more losely woven).
One of the best things about these shawls, which you unfortunately cannot appreciate on the internet, is the softness to the touch of this handspun alpaca.
